Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Dibble Demons walked away with it. They took down the Blue Devils 40-26 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Dibble as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Jag Norman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns. Norman is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Maddox, who picked up 127 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Dibble pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Walters, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.
Dibble will square off against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Woodland: 11.8, Dibble: 15.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Walters does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
