The Rochester Zebras lost against the Logansport Berries back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Rochester lost to Logansport at home by a decisive 58-43 margin. Rochester has not had much luck with Logansport recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Despite the loss, Rochester still got an impressive performance from Drew Bowers, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The matchup was Bowers' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Prater, who scored eight points.
Jacob Taylor was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Logansport. Taylor set a new season high mark in rebounds with seven. Loran Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Logansport, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rochester will face off against North Miami at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. North Miami is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Logansport and Lafayette Jefferson will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Lafayette Jefferson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
