Jupiter extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping them up to 17-3. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Dwyer Panthers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 18, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Sasha Seidel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Seidel was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Sawyer Clement and Ainsley Graybeal did most of the damage at the plate: Clement went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Graybeal went 2-for-5 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Clement has posted since back in April of 2025.
As for Dwyer, they now have a losing record of 11-12. Their loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Like Jupiter, Dwyer also got a great game from a two-way player: Maddy Lowdermilk. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Lowdermilk has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.
In other batting news, Fatima Masri and Sierra Cook did some serious damage despite the final result: Masri fired off four doubles and three RBI while going 5-for-6, while Cook went 2-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Jupiter has already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Palm Beach Central on the 27th. As for Dwyer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-2 win against Seminole Ridge on the 29th.
