The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jackpot in their matchups with Wendover: they've now lost three in a row.
Wendover found their leader in underclassman Millie Hicks, who scored 17 points. Kadence Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Jackpot's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Wendover, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Jackpot will take on West Wendover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wendover won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eureka at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st.
