Aaron Haler and Nate White provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Sunrise Christian Academy. The connection was good for 86 yards, the longest such play in Freelance this season.
Community Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Buffaloes, 47-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Royals.
Community Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Haler has thrown for 734 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Blake Nelson has 19 catches for 314 yards. White leads the league in rushing with 743 yards.
Community Christian moved up to 147 from 198 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Freelance. Paul Potter's team was able to make the jump by beating Sunrise Christian Academy 47-12.
