The View Park Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Grace Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: View Park has struggled recently with nine defeats in a row, while Grace will arrive with three straight victories.
View Park played against Locke and lost via forfeit.
Grace can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 63-12 victory over Desert Chapel. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Grace just coasted through the last quarter.
Riley Williams was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 95 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes. Jayden Foote got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
View Park's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Grace, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
