In what's become a running theme this season, the DSST: Cedar Falcons gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past DSST: Conservatory Green 54-7 at home. The victory was nothing new for DSST: Cedar as they're now sitting on five straight.
DSST: Cedar got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Katelyn Fortune out in front who scored 17 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Fortune is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Raniya Paul, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
DSST: Cedar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DSST: Cedar will take on Denver West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully DSST: Cedar focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against DSST: Montview at 6:00 p.m.
