Antelope is 0-10 against Bagdad since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Rams will host the Sultans at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
On Thursday, Antelope made easy work of Mayer and carried off a 17-3 victory. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Isela Marquez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Marquez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Abby Lucero and Audrey Arevalo did most of the damage at the plate: Lucero went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Arevalo fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Arevalo is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Anahi Lopez was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Antelope was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .455 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Bagdad had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on Salome with a sharp 20-13 victory on Tuesday.
Isabel Carpenter was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alesana Williams, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
The win got Antelope back to even at 2-2. As for Bagdad, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
