Taylor Hale put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. Hale was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Shiprock's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-6 when he doesn't).
