 On Friday, Mendota got the W thanks in part to  Hawk Garcia playing the best football he has all season. Garcia rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.  Teixeira will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Avenal on Friday. The last time  Teixeira took on the Buccaneers, he picked up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

 Mendota was led to victory by  Julian Silva, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Silva picked up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This year,  Silva  has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 50.8 receiving yards per game.

Trinidad Made His Presence Known in Mendota's  28-14 Victory
