West Oaks Academy faced Southeastern Prep Academy National in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Flame came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 91-84. The Flame's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Southeastern Prep Academy National's loss came despite strong showings from CJ Rosser and Beckham Black. Rosser dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 rebounds, while Black shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten assists. The contest was Rosser's third in a row with at least 15 points. Jayden Wilkins was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The victory (which was West Oaks Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points over those games. As for Southeastern Prep Academy National, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 17-4.
