Bangor never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Hillsboro Tigers 17-0. Considering the Cardinals have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bangor's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Hillsboro, they moved to 9-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bangor will head out to square off against Cashton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.81 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hillsboro, they will head out on the road to challenge Royall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
