After soaring high against Nelson County last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Thomas Nelson found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 21-55 punch to the gut against Larue County. If Thomas Nelson were hoping to take revenge for the 14-49 loss against Larue County the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Thomas Nelson's record to 2-1. The win got Larue County back to even at 2-2.
Next week, Thomas Nelson take on Washington County at 7:00 PM. As for Larue County, they will face off against Taylor County.
