The Dighton Hornets will challenge the Quinter Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Dighton sitting on six straight wins and Quinter on three.
Dighton saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They blew past Rawlins County, posting an 81-40 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Daniel Cramer, who went 13 for 22 en route to 31 points in addition to five assists and three steals. The contest was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. Payton Redburn was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Dighton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Quinter beat Ness City 61-56 on Tuesday.
Dighton better keep an eye on Shea S Salyers. He was instrumental in Quinter's win, going 8 of 13 on his way to 22 points and eight boards. S Salyers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Caedmon Bridges, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
Dighton's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Quinter, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Dighton has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Quinter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Dighton was able to grind out a solid win over Quinter when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 54-41. Does Dighton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Quinter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
