Hyannis's Jeremy Davis recorded the longest rushing play in Six-man West (6 Man) this season in his game against Banner County last week. Davis ran for 72 yards on the play and finished with 76 on the day as his team beat the Wildcats.
Fans got a thrill when Austin Anthony and Gabe Haney connected against Banner County. The connection went for 78 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Casey Lamle was the best wideout in the league this week as Cody-Kilgore bested Wauneta-Palisade. Lamle tallied 3 receptions for 143 yards.
Travis Hoover provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hyannis defeated Kenny Stauffer's team.
Dalton Littell threw for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 9-29 with 0 interceptions.
Taryn Ostransky was the best running back in Six-man West (6 Man) this week. He ran for 210 yards on 20 carries as the Cowboys bested the Broncos. Cody Trump also contributed to the rushing game with 73 yards on the ground.
Littell put up the best numbers in passing as Maywood lost to Arthur County. Littell's favorite target this week was Austin Phillips, who caught 2 passes for 66 yards.
Ostransky was a beast in the backfield as Cody-Kilgore defeated Wauneta-Palisade.
Littell was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Tigers lost to the Wolves. The 5-foot-9 junior.
An important game coming up this the league this week will be when Bob Frederickson's team takes on Arthur County. The Longhorns are currently in second, while Joe Kupper's team is in fourth.
There should be lots of points scored when Hyannis and the Wolves face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Longhorns comes in having scored 64 this season, while Arthur County has scored 68. Hyannis scored 64 points last week as it topped the Wildcats.
The Longhorns took down Banner County 64-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hoover threw for 45 yards, ran for 174 yards and caught 1 passes for 16 yards during the win.
