On Tuesday, the Mid-Carolina Rebels's game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Ninety Six by a score of 44-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mid-Carolina.
Mid-Carolina was led to victory by Jacob Clark and Kaden Myers. Clark dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds, while Myers shot 4-for-9 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Myers pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Mid-Carolina's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Ninety Six, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Mid-Carolina will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Ninety Six is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for they, they will head out on the road to face off against Mid-Carolina at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Mid-Carolina focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
