The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bethel, who took down 165th ranked Bethel, 34-14.
Federal Way extended the longest winning streak in 4A SPSL - South this week by beating Curtis, 35-6. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Eagles.
Puyallup's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brendan Illies threw for 197 and two touchdowns and Justin Janker had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Trevor Whitney chipped in 60 yards. Rob Howard helped Puyallup's passing attack out by catching five balls for 65 yards.
Puyallup's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Illies has thrown for 2490 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Levi Jordan has 47 catches for 690 yards. Whitney leads the league in rushing with 599 yards.
Emerald Ridge was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Jaguars defeated Mt. Rainier 42-20.
