The biggest upset of the week belonged to Osage City, who took down 205th ranked Osage City, 42-15. Troy Higgs threw for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 31 yards in the win.
Joe Walsh and Josh Owens provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Mission Valley. The connection went for 80 yards, the longest such play in Flint Hills this season.
Brendan Watts was the best wideout in the league this week as Chase County bested the Indians. Watts tallied 7 receptions for 172 yards.
Josh Napper was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 179 yards as West Franklin topped Osage City. Teammate Emerson Reece added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
Walsh put up the best numbers in passing as Lyndon topped the Vikings. He finished with 9 completions for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns. Walsh's favorite target this week was Owens, who caught 2 passes for 128 yards.
He went 9-11 with 0 interceptions.
Chris McWilliams made the biggest impact on defense this week as Northern Heights bested the Falcons. The 5-foot-11 senior recorded 2 fumbles.
