The Madison Comprehensive Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell just short of Wooster by a score of 51-49. Madison Comprehensive was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wooster apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Brady Bowen was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with eight assists for Wooster. That's the first time this season that Bowen posted eight or more assists. Aidan Holford was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Madison Comprehensive's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Wooster, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Madison Comprehensive will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield Senior is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games. As for Wooster, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on New Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
