Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Ouachita Christian Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kittens. Ouachita Christian's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Ouachita Christian still got an impressive performance from Luke Vidrine, who threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Zachary White, who gained 96 total yards and a touchdown.
Ouachita Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Southern Lab, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Ouachita Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southern Lab will face off against Riverside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Riverside Academy: 10.1, Southern Lab: 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
