Catasauqua added to the longest winning streak in Colonial this week by beating Palmerton, 38-7. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Bangor moved up to 390 from 434 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Slaters climbed the ranks as a result of besting Northern Lehigh 46-18.
Phil Vass was a passing and rushing force as Bangor defeated the Bulldogs.
Sean Wolderich was the best receiver in the league this week as Donnie Hawk's team beat Northern Lehigh. Wolderich racked up 1 reception for 55 yards.
Pen Argyl's Ryan Hunt and Nick Oyer have formed a dream team this season, leading Colonial in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hunt has thrown for 776 yards this season, while Oyer has 19 catches for 525 yards. Nick Savant from Saucon Valley leads the league in rushing with 982 yards.
The Slaters' Vass needs only 75 yards against Northwestern Lehigh next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 81 carries Vass has put up 925 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Palisades takes on Southern Lehigh. As it stands, the Pirates are in third, while the Spartans are in second.
Southern Lehigh took down the Panthers 31-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
