Arrowhead and Kettle Moraine are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. The Warhawks will head out on the road to square off against the Lasers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Arrowhead is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Pewaukee, who was ranked tenth at the time (Arrowhead was ranked eighth). The Warhawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates on Wednesday. The Warhawks have beaten the Pirates the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pirates has come to flipping the script.
One reason for the win was Arrowhead's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-14.

Arrowhead relied on the efforts of Siena MacCudden, who had 23 digs and six assists, and Georgia House, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most assists MacCudden has posted over her last 17 contests. Maggie Strickland also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.
Meanwhile, Kettle Moraine earned a 2-0 victory over Green Bay Preble on Saturday.
Kettle Moraine easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.
Arrowhead's record is now 18-12. As for Kettle Moraine, their record now sits at 11-17.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Arrowhead has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Kettle Moraine struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
