Moss Point made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,068 from 5,120.
Leading 4A Region 8 in both passing and receiving yards, St. Stanislaus's Tyler Allen and Brennen Bradley have proven to be a lethal combination. Allen has thrown for 1,980 yards this season, while Bradley has 40 catches for 804 yards. Jiquan James from Poplarville leads the league in rushing with 564 yards.
Going into this week's contest against Vancleave, the Rock-a-Chaws' Allen needs 20 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when St. Stanislaus takes on the Bulldogs. Gabe Fertitta's team is currently in first, while Vancleave is in third.
