When it comes to explaining why Strom Thurmond lost, one person who can't be blamed is Katlyn Chinn. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with six assists and six steals. Chinn has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lawson Lowe, who scored nine points.
Strom Thurmond's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Silver Bluff, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
