Ezekiel Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors as they made off with a 54-31 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Ezekiel Academy to victory were Gianna Johnson and Addi Newell. Johnson went 7-for-9 en route to 16 points and eight boards, while Newell went 5-for-9 to rack up 13 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Johnson now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Samiya Ballard, who posted nine points.

Tuscaloosa Home Educators lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Amelia Arsenault, who put up 12 points and five steals. Layken Horton was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Ezekiel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Ezekiel Academy has already played their next matchup, a 37-21 win against Evangel Christian on the 15th. Tuscaloosa Home Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
