Nebo Crossing Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Baker, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 16 rebounds. Baker has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Grubbs, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Nebo Crossing Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.82 points. As for Community Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Nebo Crossing Academy will square off against Tournament Opponent at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday. Community Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Master's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
