Noah Pollard's Big Game Leads Carmi-White County over Edwards County
Starting off the list is Carmi-White County's Noah Pollard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pollard rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win (which was Carmi-White County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Pollard's next game is against Eldorado on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

A Season-Best Performance from Michael Barner Leads Fairfield over Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton
On Friday, Fairfield got the W thanks in part to Michael Barner playing the best football he has all season. Barner rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
Fairfield now has a winning record of 4-3. Barner and Fairfield will square off against Hamilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Israel Sargent Turns in Another Game with at Least 112 Rushing Yards
Fairfield was led to victory by Israel Sargent, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sargent's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
On the year, Sargent has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 130.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 15.67 rushing yards per game.

Stockton Made His Presence Known in Carmi-White County's 48-6 Victory
The second Carmi-White County player making an appearance here is Kade Stockton, and for good reason. He rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
This season, Stockton has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 72.3 rushing yards per game.
