Baseball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Thatcher

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy won the last time they faced Thatcher and things went their way on Tuesday too. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy was the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over Thatcher. With that win, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Sawyer Allen, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Allen has become a key player for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Loftis, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Thatcher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will host Maricopa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
