The Perry Traditional Academy Commodores's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Taylor Allderdice 87-33. While losing is never fun, Perry Traditional Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 675th, while Taylor Allderdice is ranked 50th).
It was another big night for Logan Golle, who scored 28 points along with six assists and three steals for Taylor Allderdice. Golle has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Azerick Jetter was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Perry Traditional Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Taylor Allderdice, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Traditional Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brashear at 3:15 p.m. on February 7th. As for Taylor Allderdice, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carrick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
