Uintah was the  3-2 winner over Timpanogos when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Utes fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. The Utes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Uintah actually scored more points across those five sets (108-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 16-25, 24-26,  15-13.
 Paisley Bell paced Uintah's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bell really made an impact as  she also led the team in assists with two.  Kenadie Maughan controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
 Timpanogos found their leader in freshman  Elsie Hampton, who  had 29  digs and two  aces.
Uintah's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Timpanogos, they moved to 6-20 with that  win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.
 Uintah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Provo on the 9th. As for Timpanogos, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  victory against Summit Academy on the 9th.
