Woodsboro owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kaufer Seahawks 30-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Woodsboro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabriel Davila led the charge by rushing for 101 yards on only six carries. Davila got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 58 yards.

Woodsboro's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Kaufer, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Woodsboro and Kaufer will both be playing Santa Maria the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Seahawks will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
