Silver Stage extended their losing streak to eight on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-15. They lost 13-3 to the Oasis Academy Bighorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bighorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-8 on Tuesday.

Silver Stage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blayne Baratti Butler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Baratti Butler has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Cody Shackley was another, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
As for Oasis Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games.
On Oasis Academy's side, Ryder McNabb made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. McNabb has become a key player for Oasis Academy: the team is 7-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-6 otherwise. McNabb was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on James Thibodaux, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Keagan Craig, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oasis Academy beat Silver Stage by a score of 9-7 later that day.
