After soaring high against Portageville last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Charleston were completely outmatched, falling 8-70 to Hayti. If Charleston were hoping to take revenge for the 15-62 loss against Hayti the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Charleston's record to 1-0. The win bumped Hayti's record up to 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Charleston will look to defend their home turf next week against Doniphan at 7:00 PM. As for Hayti, they will face off against Chaffee.
