North Valley Christian Academy lost against Mohave Accelerated back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Valley Christian Academy Lions took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mohave Accelerated Patriots.
Despite the loss, North Valley Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Triniti Terracciano posted 11 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Chardonnay Pryce, who earned five points and three steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mohave Accelerated to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haley Leslie, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hazel Mae Barnett, who had four points and six steals.
North Valley Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Mohave Accelerated, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
North Valley Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 32-16 win against Northland Prep Academy on the 16th. As for Mohave Accelerated, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-50 victory against Thatcher on the 14th.
