Even though the School of the Arts Silverhawks scored an imposing 58 points on Thursday, the World of Inquiry Griffins still came out on top. World of Inquiry skirted past School of the Arts 61-58. The win made it back-to-back wins for World of Inquiry.
Leading World of Inquiry to victory were Jaedon Adams and Deandre Leonard . Adams scored 22 points, while Leonard dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Adams has scored at least 25% of World of Inquiry's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yacoub Tarawally, who scored 13 points.
World of Inquiry now has a winning record of 2-1. As for School of the Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
World of Inquiry will be playing in front of their home fans against Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for School of the Arts, they will head out on the road to face off against Early College International at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
