The Pershing County Mustangs came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past Sierra Lutheran with a 51-46 win. That's another feather in the cap for Pershing County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pershing County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Donaldson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Donaldson has scored all season. Izayuh Mcglothin was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Pershing County's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Sierra Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
