Baseball Recap: Ballard Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ballard put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 13-7 margin over the Nathan Hale Raiders. That's more bragging rights for the Beavers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wes Manger made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Manger was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Aiden DePaula was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Truitt Madonna, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Ballard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nathan Hale only posted an OBP of .412.

Ballard's record is now 3-0. As for Nathan Hale, their record now sits at 0-2.

Coming up, Ballard will welcome Shorecrest at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nathan Hale, they will head out to take on Port Angeles at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
