Taylor scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 88-48 win over Austin Achieve. That looming 88-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Taylor yet this season.
Taylor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eli Laurence led the charge by scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Treos Richardson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Manor New Tech put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Giddings, posting a 77-42 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Manor New Tech has posted since December 19, 2023.
Taylor pushed their record up to 8-15 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Manor New Tech, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
