The matchup between them and Cottage wasn't particularly close, with Atlanta Area School for the Deaf falling 44-25. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Atlanta Area School for the Deaf in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.
Alyssa Briggs continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cottage, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Briggs has scored at least a third of Cottage's points. Grace Workman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Atlanta Area School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cottage, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
Atlanta Area School for the Deaf will play host again and welcome the Bears, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cottage, they will head out on the road to take on the Jaguar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
