Meanwhile, Fredonia blew past Beaver Dam, posting a 47-17 win at home. The win was all the more spectacular given Fredonia's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Beaver Dam is ranked 90th).
El Capitan/Centennial Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Fredonia, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
