Watersprings had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Alturas Prep 43-11 at home. The victory was just what Watersprings needed coming off of a 51-30 loss in their prior matchup.
Kaitlyn Syverson had an outrageously good game as she scored 28 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caroline Combs, who scored six points along with six steals.
Watersprings' win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Alturas Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3.
Watersprings will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Clark County at 6:00 p.m. Alturas Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Taylor's Crossing at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. Taylor's Crossing's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Alturas Prep's offense will have their work cut out for Alturas Prep.
