Schlarman is 1-9 against Milford since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Schlarman Hilltoppers will head out on the road to take on the Milford Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Schlarman is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Schlarman suffered their biggest defeat since November 25, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Chrisman on the road and fell 82-54. Schlarman was down 70-45 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Schlarman's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Peyton Kuemmerle, who scored 20 points, and Noah Fowler who scored 19 points. That was a full 37% of Schlarman's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Milford's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They snuck past Chrisman with a 64-59 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Schlarman has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Milford, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.
