The Salem Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Austin Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salem will be strutting in after a victory while Austin will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, Salem was able to grind out a solid victory over Mitchell, taking the game 43-34.
Meanwhile, Austin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-50 to Orleans.
Salem's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
Salem didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Austin in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 27-22 victory. Does Salem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Austin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
