Two dominant  players in  Addy Scrivner and  Cheznie  Roundy are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lehi Pioneers and the Payson Lions will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 Lehi is ranked highly in their home state, and   on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Rigby. Lehi lost to Rigby at home  by a decisive  61-44 margin. Lehi has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Lehi's  loss came about despite a quality game from  Scrivner, who  scored 18 points along with five  steals. Scrivner scored a full 40.9% of Lehi's points, the fifth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellie Hill, who  scored nine points.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  game, but Payson had to settle for a  44-42 defeat against Mountain Ridge on Saturday.
 Lehi's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Payson, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Lehi strolled past Payson in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022 by a score of  57-38. Will Lehi repeat their success,  or does  Payson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
