Assabet Valley RVT was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to third in Vocational. Earlier in the week, the Aztecs triumphed over Worcester Vo-Tech 28-8.
Blackstone Valley RVT made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,628 from 8,550. The improvement came about via a 34-10 victory over Quaboag Regional last week.
Montachusett RVT's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Andrew Webb has thrown for 87 yards and one touchdown this season, while Cody Husselbee has five catches for 54 yards. Tarsiah Murphy leads the league in rushing with 210 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Keefe Tech takes on Nashoba Valley Tech. As it stands, the Broncos are in eighth, while the Vikings are in fifth.
Montachusett RVT led Vocational in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Montachusett RVT.
