The Mansfield Christian Flames will head out on the road to face off against the Plymouth Big Red at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Mansfield Christian humbled Loudonville with a 80-45 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mansfield Christian.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mansfield Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amarr Davis, who scored 16 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The game was Davis' third in a row with at least ten points. Dre Martin was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, after only 23 points in their last game, Plymouth made sure to put some points up on the board against Monroeville on Friday. Plymouth managed a 61-56 win over Monroeville.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-1.
Mansfield Christian beat Plymouth 58-46 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mansfield Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
