Basketball Recap: Community Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to 14

Community Christian extended their home winning streak to 14 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Brody Back. The Community Christian Eagles blew past the Fishers Christian Academy Knights 74-28 on Tuesday thanks in part to Back, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 18 points along with six assists and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Pitcher, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 16 points and three steals. What's more, he also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Community Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points over those games. As for Fishers Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Community Christian will square off against Christian Academy of Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fishers Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
