The Stillwater Pioneers suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 62-34 loss at the hands of Broken Arrow. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Stillwater has scored all season.
Broken Arrow's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macy Marraccini, who almost dropped a triple-double on ten points, ten rebounds, and nine assists. Marraccini is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rekiah Bowen, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Stillwater has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Broken Arrow, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillwater will take on Choctaw at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Choctaw will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Broken Arrow, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Muskogee at 6:30 p.m. Muskogee is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
