Mt. Zion's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Bloomington on Tuesday. The Braves blew past the Williamsville Bullets 15-5. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.
Mt. Zion got a massive performance out of Addy Rotz, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles Rotz has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Kanemaru, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs and two stolen bases.
Mt. Zion's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Williamsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.
Coming up, Mt. Zion will square off against Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamsville, they will challenge Warrensburg-Latham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
