Van Horn won the last time they faced Butler, and things went their way on Saturday, too. Van Horn were fully in charge, breezing past Butler 48-6. The success made it back-to-back wins for Van Horn.
Van Horn's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 40 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Butler couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 40-0 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Van Horn in the second half and held Butler to 6 points. The game brought Van Horn to 2-0 and dropped Butler to a mirror-image 0-2.
Van Horn are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Bishop Ward next week . Butler will look to defend their home turf next week against Sherwood at 7:00 PM.
